Oh wow...

I'm Blonde!

I went in to get my highlights touched up, and I think she added a few more, because I ended up very blonde! (And WHY Blogger, do you tell me that it's spelled Blond? I have never seen it spelled that way!)

I am still adjusting to it, but I think I like it :)

I always do this love/hate thing for a day or two after I get my hair done. I think it's kinda fun for summer though!
(Oh, and I will totally do my eyebrows lighter, I swear. Just went in darker and came out lighter, so they're a bit dark for the hair now)

New look...

It must be something in the air, because I see I'm not the only blogger who revamped their hair this weekend!
My mom took me as a surprise for Valentine's day to get my hair done today. It was badly needed and such a wonderful treat! I have been looking for someone to do my hair, and think I may have found my lady. :)
I went for a more brunette color with soft highlights this time. My red will surely still peek through in the sunlight, since my hair pulls so much darn red when I get it done (since it is naturally a strawberry blonde). Last time that I had it colored it was a tad too burgundy (which is a cool toned red) whereas I really need to stay in the warm tones. I'm very happy with the result!
It's half up in this picture, I'm sure I'll have plenty of it down & curly later, I'm such a slob about straightening it :(

Affairs of the hair...

What to do?

It's time for me to get my hair done again, and I was thinking about going back to my "natural" color...which is a golden blonde with a hint of red... but I have gotten quite a few compliments on how I have my hair right now...

So here is the closest I have to a picture of me with my hair that color (me on the left, age 17) ... it is still a little too blonde in this picture (I had kept getting highlights until it was blonder), and of course its much too crunchy-looking, but it gives you a general idea. My natural color has just a hint more red in it, especially in the sun.

So what do you think... just update what I have now (mucho more $$) :( or go back to natural and not worry about it for a bit until I have more grey coming in?

Russ likes my hair as is now, so sadly, that's usually my deciding factor, though he only has this picture to go by to see my natural, which isn't quite accurate. So please, tell me what you think!
